Rev. Ted Wiard along with his wife Rev. Marcella Wiard created Golden Willow from a combined vision of compassion and healing towards all life.  Ted is a licensed clinical therapist, certified grief counselor, an ordained minister, a NM certified schoolteacher, and a certified tennis teaching professional.  Ted’s passion for working with grief, loss, and resiliency arose from his own personal losses in which he realized there were very few places to go for support and healing from loss.

He has written many articles on the subject of emotional healing and has worked at prestigious places such as Betty Ford Center with grief and loss and the connection/disconnection of spirituality in loss, addiction, and relapse and as the Assistant Clinical Director of Teambuilders Counseling that works with children and their families in need of mental health services and community support. 
Ted is sought out for speaking engagements internationally and throughout the country. His inspirational and dynamic message offers the audiance new avenues of healing.
