A film and presentation by Herb Landis explores love, loss and the power of art. This film illustrates the true grief journey of Carol Emerson, a therapist who shares through her art, poetry and journal entries in how she navigated the grief of losing her partner, Dr. David Nutter.

Herb Landis is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a Board Certified Diplomate. He has been practicing the art of psychotherapy for 10 years in Virginia and for the past 18 years in Lancaster, PA. In his private practice, one of his primary interests is in helping clients navigate their grief and mourning process.

Herb, along with his colleague Judith Kennedy, LPC recently wrote Landscapes of Grief and Mourning: A Therapeutic Guide that accompanies the film, Death Valley: A Love Story (2016)

Herb has also been an Amish Consultant to the film, Amish Grace (2010), the story about the Nickel Mines Amish School House tragedy and provided therapeutic intervention for children & families.
